I decided to start a new sketchbook over Winter Break to practice working from life and composition, since it’s going to be a big part of getting into the A/I program at school. To make it more fun, I’m making Ashley and Hogan do this with me too with their own sketchbooks! Of course, there’s a catch: with any page in the sketchbook that seems to have been made up and not from life, they owe the other two a quarter each. Here’s my first page. I like birds. I like doing studies. BAM! Bird studies.
